Karmiel Dance Festival is proud to present:
Karmiel Folkldance International Festival & Competition (KIFC).
Karmiel Dance Festival is seeking folkdance groups from around the world to join the festival and compete in the Karmiel International Folkdance Competition (KIFC).
The performing group must include at least 16 dancers
and must not exceed 30 participants (including staff members).
Minimum age of the dancers, musician, performers and staff: 16
Groups must arrive to Israel on Monday, June 29th
and are welcome to stay until Friday, July 3rd.
The Karmiel Festival will take place in Karmiel, Israel, June 30-July 2, 2020.
The KIFC will be held on July 1, 2020.

Three days and nights of dance, music, culture and color,
all filling the air to create an atmosphere
of genuine joy among all who participate.
About the Karmiel Dance Festival
The Karmiel Festival is an annual event that showcases folkdancing from around the world, celebrating the contributions that dance makes to the unique heritage and culture of every country.
The festival presents participants with multiple performances and activities, that are inclusive and accessible to children and youth, adults, religious communities, and those with physical challenges.
Approximately 250,000 people attend the Festival to dance, to participate in workshops, to enjoy performances, and to share together the happiness that dance brings to our lives.
The festival will host Israeli and international dance groups for three days and three nights of activities:
shows, folk dancing with the audience, workshops, master classes and special presentations, among others.
The most important dance events in Israel will take place in the Karmiel Festival, including Israeli Folk Dance Creation competitions and the Israeli Dance Award Ceremony.
