פסטיבל כרמיאל 2026
תחרות היצירה בריקודי עם
התחרות תתקיים ביום חמישי, 6 באוגוסט, בשעה 14:00 באולם הורוביץ.
תקנון השתתפות ליוצרים
הכנות
- ישנן 4 קטגוריות: מעגלים, זוגות, שורות וריקודי ילדים. כל קטגוריה תתחרה בנפרד, כלומר ריקודי מעגל מול מעגל, שורות מול שורות וכן הלאה.
- כל משתתף רשאי להגיש עד ריקוד אחד בכל קטגוריה, אשר לא נחשף לרוקדים בעבר. מובהר בזאת כי יוצר רשאי להגיש יותר מריקוד אחד לתחרות בכללותה, אך לא יותר מריקוד אחד בכל קטגוריה.
- על היוצר לרשום את השיר/ים בארגון המרקידים באופן עצמאי או באמצעות פנייה ישירה לאחראית על רישום הריקודים, רויטל גולן, בטלפון 052-8336654 או במייל revitalg@gmail.com. לפנייה יש לצרף את פרטי השיר המדויקים (ביצוע, מילים ולחן).
- על השירים להיות עם לחן ישראלי או בעברית (או אינסטרומנטלי).

צילום והקלטה
- את סרטון הריקוד יש לשלוח למייל karmiel.contest@gmail.com לא יאוחר מיום שבת, 4.7.2026 בשעה 23:59. על הסרטון להיות באיכות טובה לצפייה ולהאזנה.
- שלב השיפוט הראשוני הוא בעילום שם, ולכן המתמודדים מתבקשים לא להופיע בסרטון הריקוד של עצמם.
- את המוזיקה לריקוד יש לשלוח באיכות טובה להשמעה בתחרות, לאותה כתובת המייל בסעיף 1 לעיל.
- אין להעלות את סרטון הריקוד לאינטרנט, אלא רק לאחר התחרות בכרמיאל.

שלב שיפוט ראשון
- צוות השיפוט הראשון יכלול שופטים מהתחום הרלוונטי.
- צוות השיפוט הראשון יצפה בצילומי הריקודים, וכל שופט ימסור את ניקודו עבור הריקודים שהוגשו. לגמר יעלו שלושה ריקודים מכל קטגוריה. ייתכן שינוי במבנה הגמר ומספר הריקודים העולים, בהתאם לצורכי ההפקה.
- בתוך שבוע מיום סגירת ההרשמה, תודיע הפקת התחרות ליוצרים אם ריקודם עלה לשלב הגמר.
שלב הגמר - התחרות
- צוות השופטים יורכב מאנשי מקצוע בתחומי המחול והמוזיקה מישראל ו/או מחו״ל.
- לפני פתיחת התחרות תיערך הגרלה שתקבע את סדר הופעת הריקודים בתחרות.
- כל יוצר יגבש מבעוד מועד קבוצת רוקדים אשר תציג את הריקוד בתחרות. מספר הרוקדים לא יעלה על 24 משתתפים ולא יהיה נמוך מ-8 משתתפים. באחריות היוצר לארגן את קבוצת הרוקדים ולהגיע לאולם הורוביץ לפני פתיחת התחרות כדי לקבל תדריך מטעם הנהלת התחרות. קבוצה שלא תנכח בתדריך לא תוכל להופיע בתחרות וריקודה ייפסל. שימו לב כי כל רקדן ירקוד לכל היותר ריקוד אחד בכל קטגוריה (כלומר, ישראל ישראלי יוכל לרקוד רק בריקוד אחד של מעגל, אחד של זוגות וכן הלאה).
- לאחר הצגת הריקודים, צוות השיפוט ידרג אותם וימסור את הניקוד.
- בכל קטגוריה יוכרז זוכה אחד (סה״כ 4 זוכים ב-4 קטגוריות). בנוסף, ייבחר זוכה ״חביב הקהל״ ופרס Overall מאת השופטים. דירוג הזוכים וחלוקת הפרסים תוגדר בהמשך על ידי הפקת התחרות.
- להנהלת פסטיבל כרמיאל ולמארגני התחרות תהיה הזכות להשתמש במוזיקה ובריקוד שיתחרה ולהפיצם מבלי לפצות את יוצרי הריקודים או לשלם להם כל תמלוגים.
- כל המשתתפים בתחרות מאשרים כי במהלך התחרות ייתכן ויצולמו, וכן מאשרים כי צוות הפסטיבל רשאי לעשות שימוש חופשי בתמונות ובסרטונים לצורכי פרסום ותיעוד.
- על משתתפי התחרות ועל הצופים בתחרות חל איסור מוחלט לצלם את התחרות או חלקים ממנה. מורשה לצלם רק מי שקיבל אישור מטעם הפקת התחרות והנהלתה.
- חריג לתקנון יכול שייעשה בכל שלב לפני התחרות אך ורק על ידי הפקת הפסטיבל ומנהליו.
- התחרות תתקיים בהתאם להוראות ולנהלים הנהוגים בפסטיבל כרמיאל, ובכפוף להם.
- התקנון מנוסח בלשון זכר רבים אך פונה לשני המינים במשמע.
- על המתחרים להגיע ליום צילומים ייעודי לתחרות במידה ויתקיים, במועד שנקבע מראש לצורך צילומי הריקודים, יח"צ התחרות וצרכי הפקה נוספים.
Karmiel Festival 2026
Israeli Folk Dance Choreography Competition
The competition will take place on Thursday, August 6, at 2:00 PM at the Horowitz Hall.
Regulations for Participating Choreographers
Preparations
- Categories: There are 4 categories: Circles, Couples, Lines, and Children's Dances. Each category will compete separately (i.e., circle dances against circle dances, line dances against line dances, etc.).
- Submission Limits: Each participant may submit up to one dance per category, provided it has not been previously exposed to dancers. To clarify, a choreographer may submit more than one dance to the overall competition, but no more than one dance within a single category.
- Song Registration: The choreographer must register the song(s) with the Dance Instructors Association independently, or by contacting the Head of Dance Registration, Revital Golan, directly at 052-8336654 or via email at revitalg@gmail.com. Accurate song details (performer, lyrics, and composer) must be included in the request.
- Song Criteria: Songs must have an Israeli melody and be in Hebrew (or instrumental).
- Registration: Registration for the competition is done via an online form. Click here to access the registration form.
Filming and Recording
- Dance Video Submission: The video of the dance must be sent to karmiel.contest@gmail.com no later than Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 11:59 PM. The video must be of good visual and audio quality.
- Anonymous Preliminary Judging: The initial judging stage is anonymous; therefore, competitors are requested not to appear in their own dance videos.
- Audio Submission: The music for the dance must be sent in high quality (suitable for playback at the competition) to the same email address mentioned in section 1 above.
- Internet Restriction: The dance video must not be uploaded to the internet until after the competition in Karmiel has concluded.

First Judging Stage
- The first panel of judges will consist of professionals from the relevant field.
- The first panel will review the dance recordings, and each judge will submit their scores for the entries. Three dances from each category will advance to the finals. Changes to the final structure and the number of advancing dances may occur based on production needs.
- The competition production team will notify choreographers whether their dance has advanced to the final stage within one week of the registration deadline.
The Final Stage - The Competition
- The Jury: The panel of judges will consist of dance and music professionals from Israel and/or abroad.
- Order of Appearance: A lottery will be held before the start of the competition to determine the performance order of the dances.
- Dance Troupes: Each choreographer must form a group of dancers in advance to present the dance at the competition. The number of dancers must be between 8 and 24 participants. It is the choreographer's responsibility to organize the group and arrive at the Horowitz Hall before the start of the competition for a briefing by the competition management. Any group not present at the briefing will not be allowed to perform, and their dance will be disqualified. Please note: each dancer may perform in at most one dance per category (e.g., John Doe can only dance in one circle dance, one couples dance, etc.).
- Scoring: Following the presentation of the dances, the judging panel will rank them and submit their scores.
- Awards: One winner will be announced in each category (a total of 4 winners across 4 categories). Additionally, an "Audience Favorite" winner and an "Overall" judges' prize will be selected. The ranking of winners and distribution of prizes will be defined later by the competition production.
- Rights and Royalties: The Karmiel Festival management and the competition organizers retain the right to use and distribute the music and the competing dance without compensating the choreographers or paying any royalties.
- Media and Publicity: All competition participants acknowledge that they may be filmed during the event, and agree that the festival team may freely use photos and videos for promotional and documentation purposes.
- Filming Prohibition: Participants and spectators are strictly prohibited from filming the competition or any parts of it. Filming is only permitted for those who receive explicit authorization from the competition production and management.
- Exceptions: Any exceptions to these regulations may be made at any stage prior to the competition solely by the festival production and its managers.
- Compliance: The competition will be held in accordance with, and subject to, the rules and procedures practiced at the Karmiel Festival.
- Gender Neutrality: The regulations are phrased in the masculine plural form but apply equally to all genders.
- Filming Day: Competitors must attend a dedicated filming day if scheduled, at a pre-determined time, for the purpose of recording the dances, competition PR, and other production requirements.
